Totton College is a further education provider based near Southampton offering vocational courses to school leavers and adults, covering BTECs, diplomas, NVQs and apprenticeships.

Totton College’s Specialist Provision provides a range of alternative courses to students who require additional support with emotional, social, behavioural and learning needs. Students receive 1:1 support, small class settings and increased differentiation and varied teaching styles. Alongside the curriculum, students are supported to develop techniques for anger management, social skills and impulse control.

We are looking to recruit two motivated, dynamic and reliable individuals for the day-day delivery within the specialist department. The post holders will work within the team to facilitate the delivery of vocational subjects such as cooking skills, sports/exercise, personal and social development, horticulture, employability and life skills. The post holders will be determined and committed to develop learners with difficulties, disabilities and wide range of other learning needs. The post holders will be expected to develop physical, emotional, social, and intellectual & employability skills for each learner.

Working within the curriculum department the role will contribute to the achievement of the college’s Strategic Plan:

A DBS check will be required for this role.
