Number of hours: 20.00 Per Week
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on brokering appropriate resettlement opportunities for young people as they near, and upon their release from Medway Secure Training Centre. This will include the provision of services for young people to access whilst released on temporary licence, through the gate and in their local communities after release.
You will have a boundaried and consistent approach to working with young people and will be passionate about supporting them to make sustainable, positive changes to their lives. You will have the ability to work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment and be resilient and creative whilst working in a structured environment, strictly adhering to protocol and procedure.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team you will work to create resettlement opportunities for young people and provide assistance to Case Workers where required. You will work both internally and externally to the Secure Training Centre; facilitating the transition of young people from the secure estate by utilising support from a broad range of agencies that you will work in partnership with. You will be a team player with good communication skills and have the ability to remain professional, positive and set a good example to young people and colleagues alike at all times.

DBS & Secure Training Centre Vetting required including 5 years reference history.
Based on the hours of work the salary will be £10,925.50.
